Deion Jordan is a strategist working at the intersection of leadership, organizational design, and large-scale transformation — translating complex vision into coherent systems, capacity, and outcomes.
As an independent consultant, he co-developed the XQ Student Performance Framework for the XQ Super School Network, presented at the Carnegie Foundation Summit, and guided school-network leadership teams through the redesign of instructional models, assessment systems, and learner agency. Earlier, he served on the founding leadership team of an XQ Super School as Director of Competency-Based Learning, and began his career as a Teach For America corps member and Honors English teacher in Memphis. He is a Gates Millennium Scholar.
Strategic Sophistication is being developed through writing, research, field application, dialogue with leaders, advisory and facilitation, and continuing framework development. It is an emerging body of work — deliberately so. Its claims will grow only as fast as its evidence.
